Belated, I know (this is last week’s topic), but I had to get to it so I’m technically up to speed!

Now I am a huge Art Deco / Jazz Age / comic book / Film Noir / kitsch buff so these sensationalist covers are my crack, and I love painting my own versions of them. This particular one pretty much says it all.

I’ve been rather obsessed with bobcuts in recent weeks. Trying to convince myself that I’ll look good with one—my hair really needs a cut, I’m gonna look like a siren/mermaid soon. Blame it on Phryne Fisher (my latest crack). ;)
